Marker Seven Hosts Drupal 7 Release Party

Marker Seven, an award-winning digital agency, will be host for a San Francisco Bay Area Drupal 7 release party on Friday, January 7th. Marker Seven joins with Open Source users and fans around the world to celebrate the latest version of Drupal, the powerful content management system (CMS). The party will be held at Marker Seven’s new headquarters at 300 Beale Street, San Francisco. It begins at 4:00 p.m.

The Marker Seven event is one of over 225 parties scheduled around the world in 84 countries on January 7 to celebrate the new release of Drupal 7, which is considered to be a milestone in the history of Open Source. After two and a half years of development, the latest version of Drupal is built for both high-end performance and ease of use. It features a refined and more intuitive user interface and hundreds of enhancements ‘under the hood.’

“Drupal has come a long way since we first recommended it in 2005,” said Patrick Ford, CSO at Marker Seven. “The use of Open Source content management systems, CRM's and E-commerce systems, allow us to design and build an online experience without the inherent constraints of closed source products. Drupal is an excellent framework and we're happy to support its continued growth.”
